Christmas Day has brought more than the usual joy for many, with parents welcoming newborn babies at hospitals in Belfast.
Among the first of the little arrivals to make their appearance at the Ulster Hospital was baby Scott, who was born at 1.36am at 7lb 8oz.
Across the city in the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital, baby Poise was born at 2.37am to proud parents Katie Fitzpatrick and Stephen Browne, weighing 7lb 3oz.
Back at the Ulster Hospital, an as-yet unnamed baby boy was born to overjoyed mum Natalie Tosh at 4.44am.
Not far behind in the same maternity ward was baby Rosie Ennis, who was born at 6.36am and weighed 6lb 2oz, and mum Kate and dad Ben posed for a picture with their daughter.
At the same time in the same ward, mum Sarah Coyle welcomed daughter Eleanor, who was also weighed at 6lb 2 oz.
