Four players from an Irish League team have been involved in a road crash while travelling to a game on Saturday.

The four Dungannon Swifts players were travelling to the home match against Ballymena at Stangmore Park when the collision occurred.

The game is set to go ahead despite the crash, the club confirmed.

“Unfortunately four of our first team squad have been involved in a RTC on the way to our fixture against Ballymena United today,” the club posted on social media.

“We will give a further update later after the game.
