JOBS FAIR

:: Belfast City Airport is holding a recruitment fair to fill more than 30 roles with its commercial and operational partners.

Caffè Nero, Mitie, World Duty Free, Swissport and WH Smith are among the companies seeking to recruit, with available roles including baristas, check in agents, bar staff, ramp agents, ground handling personnel, security, housekeeping, aircraft cleaning services and retail assistants

The ‘Runway to Success Jobs Fair’ will be held at the airport on Tuesday November 7 from 10am until 4pm, open to all job-seekers and those considering a career change.

It will give a unique opportunity to find out more about each of the open roles, better understand the shift patterns and work benefits as well as the opportunity to speak to staff.

Louise McGranaghan, duty manager at Belfast City Airport, said: “With more than 30 positions available across the airport and a number of shift patterns, there are roles to suit a wide range of people.”

BIG MARKETING MEET UP

:: Belfast’s leading marketing conference the Big Marketing Meet Up has announced the latest additions to its speaker lineup.

Roger Edwards, Jude Morrow, and James Poulter will join expert speakers from the world of marketing for a day of inspiration and knowledge-sharing at W5 in Titanic Quarter on November 14.

Roger Edwards, known as ‘The Marketing Simplifier’, brings over 40 years of marketing experience to the event. He helps companies simplify their marketing strategies and set clear goals.

FRAUD FORUM CONFERENCE

:: The 2023 NI Fraud Forum Conference takes place on Wednesday November 15 (9am - 3pm) at the Hilton Hotel Belfast.

Established last year, the Forum is made up of private sector individuals as well as public organisations such as HMRC and the PSNI, and aims to spread awareness of the dangers of fraud and white-collar crime.
