A SENIOR AIB executive has been appointed as the new head of First Trust Bank.
Adrian Moynihan, who brings over 17 years of financial services experience in retail banking, mortgages, business banking and wealth management will succeed Des Moore.
Mr Moynihan has held a wide range of roles within AIB including group head of housing strategy, head of wealth management and deposits and head of strategy and planning for branch banking for AIB in Ireland.
The new bank head said he is excited about the fresh opportunity.

Part of the AIB Group and headquartered in Belfast, First Trust Bank provides circa £2 billion in financing to personal, business and corporate customers across Northern Ireland.
The Bank is a strong supporter of business and enterprise across Northern Ireland. It has recently been involved in the £30m
refinancing of the Belfast International Airport – one of Northern Ireland’s largest financial transactions – and has aided the development of a number of hotels including Bullitt Hotel in Belfast and the Marine Hotel in Ballycastle.
As part of the bank’s reshaping agenda all 15 branches in the north will have undergone a modern refurbishment by the start of September.
